More than half of the 32,000 girls and women raped in Thailand last year were students. About 87 rapes occur daily, one every 15 minutes. 6.6 percent were small children, 35.1 percent were minors 11 and 15, 22 percent were women 16 to 20 and 10.1 percent were women between 26 to 30. According to activist forum on sexual violence yesterday.
You can't rape somebody by accident. It takes intention. It takes holding somebody down or preying on somebody unconscious. It's entirely on purpose, Now, think about that for a second. Think about what type of person you'd have to be to think it is okay to rape someone. How obvious it is when somebody is asleep or unconscious. Think about how obvious it is that when someone is screaming and crying and begging for you to stop,. These people don't have that empathy or awareness. They can hurt people, intimately and deeply, and actually enjoy it enough to have an orgasm. There's something broken inside of them. There has to be, if they can do what they do.
When I was 9 years old I moved from my hometown, Saraburi to Pitsanulog. To start my 3rd grade there, there is one little girl who is my classmate, she’s quiet, she doesn’t really go out and play with friends that much compared to the kids at her age, but I thought that maybe she’s just an introvert. During the school year she became one of my close friends. One day after school we were waiting for our parents to pick us up from school, there’s me, her and 2 of our friends. One girl started to talk about sex and I came up with the sentence that all kids wanted to know “I know how to get pregnant” “The guy has to put his penis inside your vagina” after that interesting conversation, time went by there’re only two of us left. She looked at me curiously “Will I get pregnant? because that’s exactly what my father did to me” she said. After that I went to my mum and told her what happened, my mum reported the organisation and the police. Her father got arrested, and got released three years after. When he’s free, he came back to their house and beat her mum up.

Criminal corrections facilities are used to rehabilitate, incapacitate, or for retribution. What I mean by that is our mindset is either to fix the person by pulling him off the street, lock him away so he can’t hurt the society, or he gets what he deserves for committing that crime. A drug addict can be rehabilitated and brought back to society and have a positive effect on society. The mindset of a rapist is not something we can rehabilitate. The main point to enforce a death penalty isn't just for punishment it’s also to send a message that it is as bad as murder, which in turn will improve upon the image that it is obviously very morally wrong and inhumane, and hopefully further deter more people from doing or even considering committing rape.
